The Myth And Reality Of Effective Preselling
Saturday, March 17th, 2012Preselling is one of those “old time” marketing copy devices that has been getting the job done since way before the web came along. You have to do a little more if you want to learn how to write this unique form of copy, and it is not like writing an article or the usual form of web content, either.
We want to suggest and let you know that any affiliate offer can be made much more powerful if you package your own bonuses, but with preselling you do have to tread lightly so you do not change the tone of the presell.
The only way you can find out why people are not buying from you is to track, test and optimize. For instance, you find a great video series in a profitable niche, and it was made by some expert. What you choose to do for a bonus is totally up to you, and we encourage you to be creative. Bonuses can often be very powerful, but it is easy to spot people who put no thought at all into their bonuses. Never think that great bonuses will not sway people in their decision-making process about doing business with you.
Any time you look at effective presell copy, you will notice that there is an element of teaching about what the product is about as opposed to anything related to selling. It is really much more than just giving people information so they can make the best choice, even though you are also doing that too. As long as you’re able to educate your prospect effectively about the particular product and give them enough information, you will have no problem getting them to reach the main sales page.
Your prospect shouldn’t leave your presell page confused but rather visit the sales page in the state of clarity. It might require you to add some facts and figures, and take extra measures, but ultimately if your presell is convincing, you’ll see more of your prospects converting into sales.
Never, but never inject hyped copy in your preselling efforts unless you want to spoil the fun. You just cannot put anything that is biased in your preselling and/or reviews because it will tend to backfire. Writing presell that works well is not hard to do, but it is easy to spoil the party, so to speak. The best approach is always to do an honest job, and that will bring the best results in the long term. You can improve your conversions with strong preselling that is written correctly, so learn more about it if you want better results in your business. Watch Private Blog Network.
